Good location, outdated and old feeling to decor, bedding, etc.

This unit was centrally located in the capitola village, along the soquel creek. However, parking can be hectic if u have an oversized truck or vehicle that is lifted like we did. We got several parking tickets for having misread our permit, which, yes, is nobodys fault but our own. We brought our bicycles and surfboards, which made getting in/out of the unit difficult due to the stairs up to the door. The unit was old with a grandma feel to its decor and furnishings. I would not care except the price leads you to assume you will be staying in at least an up to date place. Lights in outer hallways lit all night so kind of distrupting to sleep in the rooms as the coverings still allow lit through. Upstairs unit was loud walking around and tv heard through ceiling late at night. This place isnt horrible, but definitely disappointing for the price.

Capitola Labor Day Weekend Getaway.

We have been spending Labor Day weekend in Capitola for the last 20 + years with friends and family. We have been renting from Beach House rentals for several years and continue to go back to rent same unit for the next year. Beach House rentals have been very accommodating and we have been very happy with their service and the location of 327 B Riverview rental. It is the perfect location for the Begonia Festival weekend. Watching floats on the river from the balcony walking distance to town and nightlife. The two bedroom two bath is perfect for our family.

Great location - great view

Less than 5 minutes walk from a dozen restaurants, extended public parking, and the beach. Clean, relaxing, great view of the river, the trestle, and the beach.

Capitola Getaway

Loved the location, so close to beach or town. Lovely little bbq area right on the river which is quite sheltered from the wind; it's a common area path but not much foot traffic. Deck is small but gets lots of sun--great reading/coffee/wine spot! House is fine, living room furniture could use an update, close to Capitola's "nightlife" if you have older children.We took bikes and a kayak which we used on the river and ocean. There is room under outside stairs to store everything, we used a lock at night but it seemed very safe.

This condo was the best of all worlds for our family -- on the river front which was the perfect settings for Bbqs, a few steps to the beach, even fewer steps to a coffee shop, and a condo with a full kitchen and washer/dryer to use. It was a perfect 11 day vacation for us and we can't wait to go back next year.

We had a great time at the rental unit the neighbors were very friendly and helpful. the unit was just what we were looking for. In short it was a perfect weekend rental.
