A Fantastic 80th Birthday

Loved having almost all of my extended family for 5 days in beautiful Capitola on the river and close to the beach. The apartments a and B were very nice and adequately stocked in the kitchen. We had a fantastic time!

Great place in Capitola

Six friends (2 couples and 2 singles) spent 4 nights here. It was the perfect sleeping setup, as the 3br house has one room with two single beds. The house was clean. Though, it does not have a view of the river. It's in a complex of three units, and the one unit that faces the river is owner occupied. She was very friendly when I met her. The house is a stone's throw from the village. The parking space is difficult to get a minivan into, but we managed. House was clean. WiFi was good. Got towels when we requested them. Everything worked properly. The only drawbacks were that the washing machine was broken, and we had to spend $50 to have our laundry done at our next destination, and the kitchen was very poorly stocked - no stocked cupboards with previous tenants leftover spices, herbs, oils, etc (so we didn't leave ours for fear of it being thrown away), and the pots, pans and utensils were somewhat lacking. But other than that, we really couldn't complain about the house. It's great!

Perfect location, beautiful decor, spacious

We absolutely loved this place. The location is perfect, its right on the river with a private BBQ area, beautiful decor inside, fully furnished, 3 sep Balconys and I could have spent the whole week in the Master Bedroom. Lots and lots of room, not a small place at all. Sitting on the alley Balcony was fun for people watching and everyone was very friendly. This will always be my most favorite vacation spot. We vacation 1 week in Capitola for 12years in a row and love to stay at different places including the Venetians but this place was just wonderful! A diamond in the sand.

Very nice condo.

The condo was nice but we were disapointed with the barbeque being on the street side without any space for the amount of people the condo itself accomodated. Next year we will be looking for something on the river with a patio that faces the river since we spend lots of time outside enjoying the scenic river. All in all we had a good time and the condo was very clean with all the amenities that one would need for a comfortable week.

Convenient and Fun

We love this place as it is comfortable and close to the beach. There were a few items this time that were missing. Usually, there are more bath towels in the chest in the bedroom. One per person for four days was a little difficult especially with small children along. We could have brought extras but had never done so before. There was only one garbage bag so we made do for the four days. Again, we could have brought more but had never done so before. There was only one bar of soap in the downstairs bathroom and upstairs. The apt needs some potholders and a spatula. But, all in all, we had a great time and everyone enjoyed themselves. Sue Hughes

Wonderful Get-Away

Stayed here over my teenagers spring break and slept 8 people comfortably. Master suite was wonderful and private from rest of house. Just wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of fireplace, outside firepit & grill. Balcony doesn't have a great view but was sheltered from wind and nice & warm on chilly days. The kitchen was well stocked and new appliances. They were not well stocked with toilet paper for 8 people & I did have to go to office to get more toilet paper & kitchen trash bags. Other than that, no complaints at all & would definitely stay there again.

Family vacation

The condo was gorgeous as usual but we were at a disadvantage because none of the telephones worked and we were unable to use our Pocketmail to keep in touch with those we told we check on daily. In addition, with five women, two men, three boys and a baby staying at different times during our weeks stay two roles of toilet paper in each bathroom wasn't enough to last. With the price we paid for this place one would think you could spring for more TP.
