Very fun to be right in the middle of everything with such a short walk to the beach. The place is clean and the back courtyard a good place to hang out with friends. Be prepared for the noise of the busy street as a tradeoff for the location.

Very central location...park your car for the week because you won't need it. walk everywhere! Very clean and tastefully decorated. Being on a busy street, it's a little noisy...but you get used to it. Will certainly consider another stay.

Check in was a breeze. Nice place with all of the comforts of home. Nice view of the ocean from the kitchen table. Great location with hot tub in private backyard. Off street parking with easy access. We would definitely stay here again.

Capitola Vaca

Capitola is fantastic!!! When we arrived to our rental, the toilet was not working at all. We drove in from San Fran and of we all needed to go to the restroom. We were inconvinienced having to leave the rental to use the restroom for a few hours. They did fix it that same night :) Then of course the hot tub :) I was so looking forward to getting in the tub and starting my vaca by relaxing. Well, the tub smelled like urine and was dirty. No chlorine in it at all. They eventually came out to fix it the next afternoon. Once those 2 issues were fixed we were very happy. We love the location and the rental. I would stay there again but this time I'll call to make sure they check the hot tub and all the plumbing. We loved it there!!!

Enjoyed being a few steps away from the beach and the convenience of the Jacuzzi when the weather was a bit too cold for the beach! With location comes quite a bit of traffic and noise but you really are part of the city. We're coming back.

My husband, and I and are daughter who is 24 years old truly enjoyed are stay, everything was even more than expected when we walked into the back yard, the place was charming, and we will stay there again next year, we had no problems, the place was clean, and everything was there for us...so close to the shops, and resturants and the ocean was 100 feet away, how can you ask for anything more...it was easy to find, and we enjoyed every minute of it, but next year we will stay later...Thank you

208 Monterey was a very nice place to stay. Within walking distance to everything by the beach in Capitola. Restrauants, shopping, relaxing! Beach House Rentals was great to work with. Very nice, very accomodating. Place was perfect for the 2 of us. Only 1 problem. We were not aware that the yard person was going to be there when we were there. It was quite startling to have someone in the private back yard when we weren't expecting anyone! There was no note about the yard service day as there was a note about garbage and the hot tub service. When I called Beach House Rentals, they were very apologetic, also weren't aware that they yard people were coming. Otherwise had a wonderful time and I would certainly go back to this rental in the future. Thank you!

The title is how Beach House Rentals descibed it to me and they were absolutely correct. I did have some issues locating the key and a door that wanted to lock itself now and then - when we were outside with no keys of course.... The apartment was perfect for the 2 of us with a great yard that was ideal for barbeques. The location is perfect with downtown Capitola literally at your feet and the beach and beach restaurants only about 100 yards away. The only fault we could find was that the TV only picked up local channels (no cable or satellite) but then we didn't spend to much time watching TV anyway! For a couple I would highly recommend it - any more people and it might be a little cramped.
