Fantastic as always!

This was the third time my husband and I have stayed at 109 San Jose. The location is perfect for hanging out in Capitola. You can park your car and never move it! We love the layout of the house and the balcony is perfect for playing cards and drinking with friends. My only complaint is the level of noise that can be heard from the home. The village is so noisy all of the time. I would not recommend this home for people with small children. This is the perfect place for friends to get together and have fun. We will rent it again soon! Thanks!

Prime location in the heart of Capitola Village

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It really is a luxury vacation home designed and equipped with high-end finishes?furniture and appliances. The view from the living room is like an observation deck--we could see the beach and all the actions on Esplanade ave.from the windows. The view of the ocean was very relaxing. Kitchen is fully-equipped with Sub-Zero fridge, Wolf range/oven. It even has a wine cooler. Whole Foods is just 5 minutes away and so it's easy to cook and eat healthy meal, just like home. Overall, it is a fantastic place for a relaxing vacation.

This was a great place for a getaway. The Beach House Rental people were very accommodating and the house is great! The location is so convenient. We had a very nice vacation!

We rented home in village for family from out of town to stay wit us and our two children,. View home was great, location was great. Home had many luxury amenities. Some issues were: Fureplace out of order Micorwave and outlets on counter out of order Parking gate lot not functioning a bit noiey durring night from street sweepers and garbage trucks. Would I rent again , yes! loved the bones of the home and location, very roomy, very great fro a large family. Deedee and Stepahnie are great! thnaks

Amazing Location!

The location is absolutely amazing. Right in across the street from the beach and the nightlife. We parked the car on Thursday and didn't get back in it until Sunday. The condo had a lot of space. The rooms were good sized, the kitchen was spacious and the steam shower was to die for! Our only concerns were there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher upon arrival. We couldn't get the dishwasher to work and had to have a maintenance man stop by and fix it. We were able to wash one load of dishes before it broke again. Hand washing dishes isn't the end of the world but it can be very annoying when you have to wash six people's dishes every meal. The washing machine was not reliable either. It only seemed to work on one setting and it was difficult to know if it was the correct setting or not. All in all a very enjoyable stay, however. It would have been great if not for a few little problems that could have been easily avoided.

Great location and views - especially in the off-season

This was more than I was expecting to pay for a rental, but the location and the views (from inside the house) made it so worthwhile. I have 2 kids that are under 5 and it really helped to have a nice place that I could enjoy inside as well as outside. Even if I was cooking dinner or doing the dishes I enjoyed the beautiful ocean views outside the picture windows. 5 big picture windows within the whole house. The place is wonderful, big, roomy, contemporary furnishings and paint (which I loved). We enjoyed staying here right in the heart of Capitola and just steps away from the beach and pier. Very accessible and easy parking. My family loved it, and for me, I got to enjoy the beach - even if it was inside the house. I think it might get a little crazy for our family if we had been there during high season or during the weekend (loud because of clubs and restaurants next door), but it was fine since we were off season and during the week. Anyone couldn't help but enjoy the views, but if you want a quiet place away from it all, this wouldn't be for you. The pictures do not do it justice, especially all the wonderful views. My husband enjoyed the steam shower too. I hope to go back again!

Wonderful Weekend Stay at 109 San Jose, Capitola

First of all, we continue to be impressed by the professionalism of the Beach House Rental staff. The service is seamless and appreciated. This was our second stay at 109 San Jose, and we found it to be better then before. The condo is in a perfect location. It is always clean and well organized. After the last stay we mentioned that the bed in the master bedroom was to small as we are large people. However, we enjoy the condo so much we are able to disregard this inconvienience Further, we will stay there again. Special note that with parking such a problem in Capitola we found Sam, the parking attendent, to be very helpfull and enjoyed talking with him. With Sam's help we found the parking not to be a problem at all.

Almost perfect, but...

This is the 5th year we've stayed at 109 San Jose, so obviously we love it. It is a beautiful apartment with lovely views, right across from the beach. This should make the location get 5 stars. However, it's also across from the bars and restaurants that make for very late night/early morning rowdiness. It is necessary to sleep with earplugs most nights. This portion alone would make location get zero stars. However, combined with the positives of the daytime environment it averages out to 3 stars. It is such a gorgeous, comfortable apartment that we put up with the frustrating noise in the middle of the night and always have a great time...even if we're a little sleep deprived.

I've always been a big fan of Capitola, but have never really experienced it quite like I did on this vacation. The beach house itself is amazing! There are tons of big windows with beautiful views of the ocean and the steam shower in the master bedroom was one of my favorite features. It was great being so close to everything and being able to walk to the beach and all the shops in the neigborhood. I would definitely do it again!

Everything you need is within walking distance.

Loved the place, loved the views, and loved the convenience of having the restaurants, bars, beach, and store within walking distance. Nice little roof top patio for grilling or to hang out. Service at the local restaurants and bars had the "take it or leave it" attitude, so don't expect 5 star service.

Luxury on the Beach

This was the best vacation rental we have stayed at. We visit Capitol every year and this rental will be our first choice from now on. Truly enjoyed the fabulous view of the ocean. The location is perfect being in the center of Capitola Village. Loved the roof top deck but especially loved the steam bath. Have to get me one of those.

Rented this for a Bachelorette weekend and it was perfect. In the heart of Capitola walking distance from everything, beach, bars, shops, everything. The house lived up to the $, clean, modern, awesome kitchen, amazing master bath (the walk-in steam shower was to dye for, I miss it), roof top deck with grill plus two smaller balconies, with the master bed, bedroom w/ trundle, and pull out sofa in living room every got their own sleeping space. Highly recommended this place.

Generally, the stay was fine. No problem finding the place, location was terrific. One thing that we didn't appreciate was the smell from the beach, which you have no control over. We had a small child with us and the floors were not as clean as they could have been. It was very spacious and well furnished.
