Wonderful Beach House with amazing Roof Top!

What an easy place to go to the beach from. Just a few minute walk to the Capitola Beach, stores and such - and this from someone who cannot walk very far - I had no troubles at all. The best part was the roof top patio! It was so amazing! I had planned to do a beach bonfire somewhere on the beach and do smores and such but it was so easy to use the roof top and no sand in the marshmallows! the rooms were decent sized. Although it is kind of awkward that the master bedroom with master bath does not have patio or tv -but one bedroom does have tv and patio. I traveled with my husband and 2 teenagers (boy and girl) and they both enjoyed it. For me the stairs (3 levels including the rooftop) were a bit steep and tough but it was doable and I really enjoyed it. I would stay there again with my family and cost wise it was the same amount or a bit less than a motel where everyone had their own room.I also have to say the folks at Beach House Rentals were awesome! This was a replacement for one that had been taken off the market due to plumbing and they did a straight cost exchange - also the toaster was out and they quickly replaced it the same day! Compared to other beach house rental companies this was by far the easiest and most pleasant to deal with! Thanks for making my short vacation worth it!

The cost/night is not reflected in the quality of this rental. It is clearly a rental - the furniture is mismatched and not comfortable. There is nothing to make one feel at home - I have stayed in hotels that are more welcoming. Basic amenities such as kleenex, kitchen towels and sponge are missing. Beds are marginally comfortable with inadequate bedding. The only thing to recommend this place is its close proximity to the beach, rooftop area and responsiveness of rental agency to renter problems. I would not return to this rental.

Relaxing Getaway in Capitola!

My husband & I rented the Park Place house for one week, with 4 children (2 youngsters & 2 teenagers). We had an absolute blast! The house was perfect for our large family. There was enough space & the right amount of bathrooms for us to share. The rooftop balcony was a total bonus & it immediately became our favorite hang out spot. You get a great view of the quaint little town & the ocean. The balcony was supplied with a bbq, sink, table, chairs & even a chimnea. Last but not least, the location was incredible! We were just 2 blocks away from the beach, which is where we spent the majority of our time. The hosue even came with a red wagon which allowed us to cart all of our beach supplies down to the beach in just one trip. It took months for us to save up for this vacation & renting the Park Place house was well worth the money. You truly get what you pay for. :)

We enjoyed our stay at 105 Park Placae. We had 3 families and it worked great for us. Parking was a little challenging but overall it was great. We loved sitting on the upper outside deck looking at the view. We would stay there again.
